In December, we started money jars in our home. December wasn't the best time to start for me because I was a bit inconsistent. However, January was a success. The boys have 3 goals each and they get paid for daily accomplishing them. This has taken the place of allowance. No surprise to anyone, Tyler is supposed to try to eat his dinner. Highlight of the month for this goal happened when I made meatloaf. I cooked it on the broiler pan and tried to make it look more rounded because then after I cut it I put it on a bun. Yes, to make it look like a hamburger. He made a face and said it tasted a little different, but Eric saved the day and said it just needed more salt. HE ATE MEATLOAF...he doesn't know that but I do. So on the following days when he didn't eat his chicken I have the memory of him eating meatloaf:)Saturday, January 29, 2011
