Spooky Dinner

My friend Steff has been doing Spooky Dinners for many years and we have done variations of them on and off.  What I learned this year is it is something special to look forward too and to spend an evening together without interruptions.

The menu:
Mummy Dogs   (Eric's pretzel recipe wrapped around hot dogs)
Ghost Pizza   (Cheese pizza with olives)
Witches fingers  (cheese sticks with almonds)
Monster apple   (cut in half, trim the bottom so it sits flat, and cut a wedge, add slivered almonds for teeth                               and candy eyeballs)
Purple jello in shapes
Zombie Slime     (raspberry lemonade with green food coloring)

That night we watched Hotel Transylvania which is hilarious.  Have a fun spooky week.

Rivalry can be fun!

Or course I had to write this sometime AFTER the game was over.  Trevor is a Utes fan.  Eric is a Cougar fan.  They went to the game together.  One came home a great deal happier than the other.  Unlike the real rivalry this one between father and son is a fun one.  The Cougars better win next year though...
