I was talking to my mom on the phone and I was mentioning how silly of me to think this BUT if Amy was able to have her baby on a specific day then I could drive down and be back in time for school to start. My mom interrupted me to say the Amy was on the other line. She then called me back and said it is your lucky day, Amy is going to have her baby on that date. Yippee! I told the boys we were taking a trip. Some trips are great, but this one was one of the best. It was so fun to be home and so special to be there to welcome a little one into the world. Often we dream of moments like these...and then it is even better than we had imagined!
