On Wednesday, the day seemed normal. The boys went to school and were busy after school. Later that night, Trevor asked if he could talk to me. He then explained that he only got a 96 on his test, he forgot an answer when his teacher called on him, that he felt overwhelmed by missing piano and being busy with scouts, that he was trying hard to be good etc...so I told him it sound like he had Spring Break-itis. It is when people need a break but it is still far away. So rather than really addressing every thing he had mentioned I told him maybe he should just take a day off. His own spring break. Thursday we dropped off Tyler at school and Trevor went with me to my piano lesson. We then picked up Trey. I had mentioned I would take him out to lunch at Wendy's since I know he likes it there. He said Mom I have been thinking and I would really like to go to KFC. We get there and order and he says that when he grows up and gets a job he is going to come here for his lunch break. He hopes they never go out of business. We headed over to get him some shorts and a tshirt (spring break clothes you know) Home to play with a friend. He thanked me for his great day. It was a great day. Doesn't everyone feel like they need a free day sometimes?
